In daily use from the first day, on real commissions. It has been through three rounds of changes since launch, all of them requested by the owner while using it: referral tracking, cover photos, sold counters, an hours log for studio help.
Quotes were being generated one at a time with no memory of what had gone where. Years of prior quotes and invoices sat in a single folder of loose files, so answering "what did we charge them last time" meant hunting.
A desktop app that turns quoting into a record. Every job belongs to a client, carries its own revision history, and moves through a real status lifecycle from drafted to sent to accepted to invoiced to paid. Plus search, and a dashboard of what's outstanding.
232 historical quote and invoice files were imported and filed automatically, covering 101 clients. The 16 the importer wasn't confident about were flagged for review rather than filed wrong, and the original files were never moved or deleted.
Budgeting apps want a live connection to your bank account. That's a lot of trust to hand over for a monthly category total, and it's the reason a lot of households give up on tracking anything at all.
A budget tracker with no bank link at all. You import a statement or photograph a receipt and it reads them in, learns how you categorize merchants, posts recurring bills on schedule, and tracks net worth over time.
Built for one household, then rebuilt so any family could sign up with their own isolated data. Currently in friends-and-family testing. It is also the honest example of building something for yourself first and finding out other people wanted it.
